Damian Almada
Certified Flight Instructor CFI Damian is a full-time flight instructor here at Cindtronix Aviation. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Damian completed the majority of his flight training here in New England airspace. Some of his favorite places to go flying are to Nantucket Island's Breakfast Inn and to the snow-filled trails of Wachusett Mountain. Damian aspires to one day be a corporate pilot. |
Richard Courtney
Certified Flight Instructor CFI/CFII Richard is a full-time instructor at Cindtronix. Flying since he was a teenager, Richard obtained his Private Pilot Certificate upon his high school graduation. He is a former Air Traffic Controller and is presently involved in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). |
Benjamin Emerick
Certified Flight Instructor CFI Benjamin is a full-time instructor with Cindtronix. Ben was caught by the "flying bug" before he even entered high school. Taking his first flight lesson at T.F. Green when only 12 years old, and soloing but a few years later on his sixteenth birthday, Ben is a dedicated aviator and flight instructor. He continues to work as a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) instructor and mission pilot. |
Chris Peet Certified Flight Instructor CFI/CFII/MEI Chris is also a very experienced pilot and an excellent instructor. As a retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Colonel, he has logged most of his flight hours in single engine land aircraft, and has given over 4,000 hours of instruction throughout the years. He is involved in the Civil Air Patrol as an instructor and check pilot. |

Ed Ritchey
Certified Flight Instructor Honorary Instructor, CFI/CFII/MEI Ed Ritchey has been flying for over twenty years, during which time he has acquired not only the CFII and MEI ratings, but also a glider rating. He is presently an air traffic controller at the Providence Air Traffic Control Tower. In addition to controlling and instructing, Ed has for over five years been involved in the Civil Air Patrol, where he serves as a check pilot. |
Bryon Williston
Certified Flight Instructor CFI/CFII Bryon grew up in North Kingstown, RI, and is a graduate of North Kingstown High School and Bryant University with degrees in Finance and Computer Information Systems. He began flying in San Diego, CA, at Montgomery Field and continued his private, instrument, commercial, certified flight instructor (CFI), and certified flight instructor instrument (CFII) training at various flight schools in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He currently works for Fidelity Investments as a Principal Systems Analyst full time and enjoys his second career as a Flight Instructor (CFI) here at Cindtronix. |

Weekend Secretary / Office Manager Cheryl is a student pilot and aviation enthusiast who works here at Cindtronix on weekends. She is an EAA member currently working on her Private Pilot Certificate and is also employed at the Patriot Land Development Company in East Greenwich. She loves to be around airplanes (where she happens to love eating sandwiches...). |

Michael Catalfamo
Web Administrator Mike is the web administrator and designer for Cindtronix. Currently a high-school student, he began flying when he was 15 and has obtained his Private Pilot Certificate here at Cindtronix. He has a passion for everything relating to aviation, and is especially interested in Air Traffic Control (ATC). When he is not in the airplane, he enjoys listening to ATC on his scanner and currently hosts an audio feed for the Providence airport on LiveATC.net. |
