Certified Flight Instructors

Chris Peet
Chief Flight Instructor
CFI/CFII/MEI

Chris is a very experienced pilot and an excellent instructor. As a retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Colonel, he has logged most of his flight hours in single engine land aircraft, and has given over 4,000 hours of instruction throughout the years. He is involved in the Civil Air Patrol as an instructor and check pilot.

Benjamin Emerick
Assistant Chief Flight Instructor
CFI/CFII

Benjamin is a full-time instructor with Cindtronix. Ben was caught by the "flying bug" before he even entered high school. Taking his first flight lesson at T.F. Green when only 12 years old, and soloing but a few years later on his sixteenth birthday, Ben is a dedicated aviator and flight instructor. He continues to work as a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) instructor and mission pilot.

Ahab Dincer
Certified Flight Instructor
CFI

Ahab Dincer is an instructor with us who is also employed by U.S. Airways as a cabin attendant. Ahab enjoys all aspects of aviation, especially traveling to new places. As an instructor, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students and the rewarding feeling when students perform. Ahab's safety-based teaching philosophy "exposes the student to a full range of experiences," but always keeps the "safety of the flight top priority, from preflight to postflight." Ahab adapts his teaching method to fit each student's needs. His goal is "to continue teaching for as long as [he] can."

Dena Elder
Certified Flight Instructor
CFI/CFII/MEI

Dena Elder is a CFI/CFII/MEI with Cindtronix. Dena graduated Michigan State University with a degree in Finance, but found her true calling in the sky. She received her Private Pilot certificate in Michigan, and finished her remaining certificates in Florida, where she was a flight instructor for Teens-In-Flight. In addition, she has experience flying traffic watch and is a avid member of the CAP. Above all, she loves teaching people how to fly, and is excited to have turned this passion into her career.

Kyle Gagne
Certified Flight Instructor
CFI

Kyle began taking flying lessons at North Central Airport shortly after his 15th birthday. He was immediately hooked to aviation and was soloing before he could drive a car. He continued to pursue his interest in flying, graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in aeronautical science. Kyle was then able to turn his passion for flying into a career. As a certified flight instructor, he is now able to share the excitement of flight with his students.

Ed Ritchey
Certified Flight Instructor
Honorary Instructor, CFI/CFII/MEI

Ed Ritchey has been flying for over twenty years, during which time he has acquired not only the CFII and MEI ratings, but also a glider rating. He is presently an air traffic controller at the Providence Air Traffic Control Tower. In addition to controlling and instructing, Ed has for over five years been involved in the Civil Air Patrol, where he serves as a check pilot.
