Computer Based Instruction (CBI)

All training consists of both ground and flight instruction. At Cindtronix, we utilize the Cessna Computer Based Instruction (CBI) system for ground training. This entertaining, interactive course will help you learn everything necessary to become a competent pilot.

You will go above and beyond the minimum standard required to pass the FAA's written and practical tests without ever cracking open a book. In addition, we offer the complete Air Facts video series on practical airmanship topics, and the COMM1 software system (both pictured below) to help prepare you for VFR or IFR radio communications before stepping into the aircraft.

1. Cessna CBI is the only system that integrates ground instruction directly with flight training. By pairing each flight with a pre-flight CBI "lab," you will know everything necessary for the flying lesson that will follow. This will give you added confidence in the air, making your flying lessons even more efficient and productive.

2. CBI allows your flight instructor and flight school to track your progress via a Course Management Module (CMM). Never will you or your instructor be in doubt as to your position in our training syllabus. This student progress database also makes switching to another instructor a seamless process: you will both know exactly where you are in your training.

3. Your instructor can track areas in which you may be having difficulty by reviewing any incorrectly answered questions from each CBI lesson.

4. CBI includes a wide range of interactive quiz questions after each training segment to reinforce what you have learned. CBI also helps you to prepare for the FAA written with extensive practice exams.
